Reflexology is a complementary approach, simple and effective which provides a state of relaxation and inner peace. It is based on the principle that there are reflex points in the feet that correspond to every organ and all parts and glands of the body. Reflexology is not a massage.. It is distinct therapy in itself and can complement other therapies. A reflexology therapist does not diagnose and does not prescribe any treatments. This therapy is safe for anyone regardless of age. With the application of rhythmic pressure on the reflex points, reflexology reduces tension, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the body. Here is a brief description of the various reflexology treatments:
1 . Integrale Reflexology ®
This technique stimulates the reflex points and zones of the feet, hands, collarbone, back, ears and / or head. A full session lasts about 60-90 minutes. No need to undress. Just wear loose fitting clothes.
2 . Foot Reflexology
Rhythmic pressure is applied with the fingers on all areas of the feet. The session lasts 50-60 minutes.
3 . Hand Reflexology
A rhythmic pressure is applied to the reflex points and zones of the hand. The duration of the session is approximately 40-45 minutes.
4 . Ear Reflexology
The ear has reflex points and reflex areas that correspond to all the glands, organs and body parts. This principle applies as the ear reflects an inverted fetus. The session is 30-35 minutes.
5 . Facial Reflexology
This therapy involves stimulating a series of reflex points on the face to strengthen and tone facial muscles and tissues. It provides deep relaxation and clarity of mind. It is a 30 minutes session.
6 . Thaï Reflexology
This technique uses Shea butter, a blend of essential oils, stretching and effleurage movements as well as rhythmic thumb walking to stimulate the reflex points of the feet and lower legs. A specific stick can be used also for certain reflex points of the feet. The attire of choice requires a casual wear with a pant leg allowing an uncompromised roll up to above the knee. The duration of treatment is 60 to 90 minutes.
7. Myofascia release with soft cupping
This technique uses silicone cups on different painful body surfaces to activate blood and lymphatic circulation and to release tensions below the dermis.
